Data is not static. It grows, attaches, spreads and disappears.
Using fluid simulation and blob tracking in TouchDesigner, DATA MOSS imagines information as a living ecology: mycelium-like networks unfolding across an invisible synthetic terrain.
White currents emerge from a black void, tracing cycles of propagation, mutation and decay. A generative soundscape of synthesized noise evokes wind through forests and water filtering through stone.
DATA MOSS reflects on data as an ecological process, blurring the boundary between computational systems and organic life.
Presented in Digital Botanical Garden, a sub-venue of the 10th Shenzhen-Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture.

DATA MOSS
